Function: Clinical Operations / Finance – Site Payments & Investigator Grants 

Employment Type: Indegene Employee or Consultant engaged by Indegene 

Reporting To: Site Payment Lead / Payment Manager 

Location: India (preferred) / Hybrid 

Time Zone Support: US and EMEA overlap as required 

Role Purpose 

The Site Payment Analyst supports investigator grant and site payment operations by analyzing payment data, validating visit and milestone triggers, maintaining payment trackers, and providing accurate reports and insights. The role plays a key part in ensuring timely payments, financial transparency, and audit-ready documentation across global clinical studies. 

Key Responsibilities 

Analyze site payment data and generate periodic payment, accrual, and reconciliation reports for assigned studies. 

Validate visit, milestone, and subject data from EDC and CTMS systems used as payment triggers. 

Maintain and update site payment trackers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of payment records. 

Monitor payment timelines and SLAs, proactively identifying and escalating delays or discrepancies. 

Support budgeting, forecasting (TPS/M2M), and variance analysis for investigator grants in collaboration with Payment Managers and Finance. 

Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Data Integration, and Finance teams to resolve data or payment-related issues. 

Assist in preparation of dashboards, metrics, and reports for operational and governance reviews. 

Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation, evidence logs, and reconciliation support files. 

Participate in transition, parallel run, and system enhancement activities as required. 

What You Will Bring to the Role 

Strong analytical skills with experience handling payment or financial data. 

Working knowledge of clinical trial workflows, site payments, and investigator grants. 

Familiarity with EDC, CTMS, and payment tracking tools. 

Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with trackers, dashboards, and reports. 

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple datasets simultaneously. 

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Your Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. 

2–4 years of experience in site payments, clinical trial finance, financial analysis, or related roles within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech organization. 

Experience supporting global or multi-country clinical trials is preferred. 

Exposure to payment forecasting, accruals, or reconciliation processes is an advantage. 

Success Measures 

Accurate and timely reporting of site payment data and metrics. 

Proactive identification and resolution of payment delays or data discrepancies. 

High data quality and audit readiness with minimal rework. 

Positive feedback from Payment Managers, Finance, and Clinical Operations teams.
