Role: GEO Analyst — Go-to-Market
Commercial Excellence | Life Sciences
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
You will be responsible for: As a GEO Analyst – Go‑to‑Market, you will support Indegene’s GTM, sales, and solutioning initiatives by translating Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) capabilities into client‑relevant narratives, diagnostics, and opportunity assessments.
This role focuses on pre‑sales support, capability demonstrations, competitive POVs, and GTM asset creation, working closely with GEO Strategists, GTM leads, and sales teams to position GEO as a differentiated capability for pharma and life sciences clients.
Must Have
GTM Diagnostics & Opportunity Assessment
- Conduct high‑level GEO diagnostics on prospect and existing client digital ecosystems to identify AI‑search visibility gaps and commercial opportunities.
- Analyze how pharma brands and therapy areas surface across LLM‑driven platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot).
- Support account‑level opportunity framing through competitive benchmarking and current‑state vs future‑state assessments.
- Identify key entities, content gaps, and authority signals relevant for commercial and medical audiences.
Sales & Pre‑Sales Enablement
- Support RFPs, proposals, and pitch decks with GEO diagnostics, insights, and recommended solution approaches.
- Create client‑specific GEO POVs aligned to commercial excellence and omnichannel strategy.
- Contribute to value articulation by linking AI search visibility to brand authority, discoverability, and business impact.
- Translate complex GEO outputs into clear, executive‑ready messaging for client conversations.
Tool‑Driven Insight Generation
- Use GEO and SEO tools (e.g., Profound, Semrush, LLM testing techniques) to generate directional GTM insights.
- Perform prompt‑based testing to understand how brands and therapy content are interpreted by LLMs.
- Package findings into sales‑friendly insights and narratives.
GTM Asset & Knowledge Creation
- Support development of GEO GTM assets, including diagnostic frameworks, capability decks, sample assessments, and case‑study narratives.
- Collaborate with GEO Strategists to build repeatable solution narratives and GTM storylines.Contribute to internal enablement content for sales and client‑facing teams.

Experience Profile
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content analysis, or search optimization. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in GEO, LLM content optimization, or AI-driven search strategies
- Hands-on experience with at least one SEO platform (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, BrightEdge, or equivalent).
- Exposure to GEO concepts, LLM content optimization, or AI-driven search is a strong advantage (not mandatory for entry-level).
- Experience working with structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD) or content management systems.
- Prior experience in a delivery-focused role within an agency, consulting, or services environment is preferred.
Life Sciences Domain
- Interest or exposure to the life sciences/pharma industry is preferred.
- Willingness to learn pharma commercial concepts, regulatory frameworks, and healthcare content workflows.
- Basic understanding of content marketing, digital publishing, and omnichannel strategy is an advantage.
Technical & Functional Skills
- GEO/SEO: Basic understanding of entity optimization, Schema.org markup, structured data, E-E-A-T, technical SEO fundamentals.
- Tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager.
- AI Platforms: Familiarity with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — able to test content visibility and document results.
- Data & Reporting: Excel/Google Sheets (intermediate+), data visualization (Looker Studio, PowerBI basics), strong analytical skills.
- Technical: Basic HTML/CSS understanding, JSON-LD familiarity, comfort with web technologies and content management systems.
