Global Engagement Lead:
NOTE : This is a Hybrid role for with 2-3 days at client office in Foster City, CA.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Life Science Engagement Lead to oversee and drive strategic client engagements in US. The role is pivotal in managing client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence, and expanding our footprint in the life sciences domain. You will act as the primary interface with clients, align internal teams to business priorities, and ensure high-quality outcomes across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key life sciences clients in Foster City, building trusted advisor relationships.
- Lead strategic engagement planning, including scoping, resourcing, and project prioritization.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for new services, upselling, and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Ensure delivery excellence by coordinating with internal teams across creative, digital, web, and omnichannel services.
- Oversee engagement financials, including revenue, forecasting, and profitability.
- Manage risk and issue resolution, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop local and offshore teams to maintain high performance and employee engagement.
- Align with global and regional stakeholders to implement best practices, standardize processes, and maintain client satisfaction.
Good to have
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in client engagement, account management, or program management in the life sciences industry.
- Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
- Experience working with global pharmaceutical or biotech clients is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong client management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with ability to align client needs with business objectives.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and optimize engagement profitability.
