Senior Manager Creative Services, Pharma

You will be responsible for:

Indegene’s Enterprise Commercial group seeks a digital-native, conceptual thinker for the Senior Manager Creative Services role. Experience as a creative leader in pharma marketing, with a history of winning and growing accounts and developing award-winning campaigns, is a must.

 

The Senior Manager Creative Services(SMCS) leads the winning, the activation, and development of creative work. The SMCS defines and drives overall strategic approaches and creative concepts that deliver relevant and engaging patient and HCP omnichannel experiences – that are both efficient and effective. SMCS  is constantly looking to push the work to new heights and challenging the team to make creative breakthroughs that drive results.

 

The SMCS shapes great work in advance by gathering and sharing inspiring work, reviewing creative briefs, and assisting in estimating work. The SMCS and their teams develop great work on a consistent basis, on time, and on budget.

What You Will Be Doing:

 

  • Manage, supervise, review and audit the work of a team consisting of copywriters, designers and art workers to ensure the creative output expected is being met as per market and brand standards, thereby maintaining the quality of creative work projects
  • Talent assessment and management of external partners like photographers, printers, freelancers, studios, web developers, etc.
  • Work closely with clients during kick-offs to create strong concepts from the initial briefing, while aligning will all stakeholders on the design of print and digital-based collateral, to the clients brief and exacting standards and within agreed time frames
  • Stay flexible, but responsible to client and staff, when responding to increases in workload/tight deadline
  • Supports organic growth opportunities and other new business opportunities with creative leadership and execution
  • Lead teams in creating award-winning work
  • Demonstrate the ability to make creative decisions that are sound both creatively and strategically and can explain those decisions thoughtfully to clients and partners across functions
  • Understand what kinds of projects demand innovation and which may demand tried-and-true, flawless execution
  • Lead internal and client-facing creative meetings, facilitating both clients and agency personnel through the feedback process
  • Develop staff and delegate responsibilities to free the SMCS to assist with multiple engagements
  • Lead the effort to establish, instill, and evolve creative best practices
  • Contribute to and lead creative concept and creative treatment development for marketing campaigns
  • Communicate actively with teams to keep deliverables on track and on schedule
  • Advise clients on business and marketing matters beyond the creative artifact itself
  • Participate in the development and evolution of Indegene creative processes and best practices
  • Provide sufficient input, mentoring, and coaching to drive their team's continued growth and align with Indegene’s core values
  • Partner with creative practice leads in navigating critical staff needs and seeking appropriate approvals
  • Partner with Account, Strategy, Production, and other cross-functional team leads to develop thoughtful, well-orchestrated, and aligned solutions for Indegene and our clients
  • Identify and attract outside talent, full-time and freelance
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to solve new client opportunities and demands uniquely
  • Designs solutions with scale and industrialization in mind

  • Ability to motivate and influence the team to constantly strive for excellence in performance
  • Proactively monitor the quality of design projects being produced
  • Investigate, propose, and implement innovative ways of delivering design services to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and coordinate the sharing of knowledge and the facilitation of learning within the team and all other employees to improve business practices, refine processes, aid and promote the development of creative ideas and introduce new services
  • Attend client meetings, partner in presenting work, discuss any needs and identify opportunities
  • Work actively to coordinate the effective allocation of design resources, facilitating information from colleagues, business managers, and staff. Provide adequate resource support to meet client demands and to cover flexible working, vacation, and leave requirements most economically
  • Ensure all mandatory processes and guidelines are always followed by the creative team
    Be the final gatekeeper for all creative work before delivery
  • Ensure all staff members accurately record timesheets and show positive billable utilization rates
  • Consistently help meet the teams KPIs (on Creativity, Quality, and Training)
  • Critical thinker possessing problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding the creative brief and converting it to actionable design output resulting in customer satisfaction based on their request
  • Hands-on with a strong focus on digital and traditional media
