Senior Analyst – Pricing, Reimbursement & Market Access

The Senior Analyst plays an active role in coordinating, developing, and delivering consulting and research engagements across a wide range of pricing, reimbursement, and market access areas. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to contribute independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional project teams.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Coordinate and deliver consulting and research projects related to pricing, reimbursement, and market access.
  • Manage assigned workstreams within larger projects, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Independently develop analytical and research outputs with limited supervision.
  • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and methodologies.

Quantitative Analysis

  • Conduct quantitative analyses using multiple data sources such as formulary coverage data, prescription volume, sales data, and payer information.
  • Synthesize and summarize complex analyses into clear, structured, and client‑ready outputs.
  • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and basic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) efficiently.

Qualitative Research

  • Conduct secondary desk research using internet tools and library resources.
  • Develop first drafts of qualitative research discussion guides independently.
  • Conduct primary research including in‑depth interviews and advisory boards with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Analyze qualitative findings and translate them into presentation‑ready insights.

Market Access & Domain Expertise

  • Understand and articulate nuances in reimbursement and market access across payer types, channels, and therapeutic areas.
  • Apply knowledge of US market access dynamics and basic understanding of global market access frameworks.
  • Remain current on key bio‑pharma industry developments impacting commercialization.

Client Interaction & Communication

  • Support senior team members in client meetings and presentations.
  • Interact directly with client stakeholders under supervision.
  • Contribute to development of well‑structured, “client‑ready” reports and presentations in PowerPoint and Word.

Business Development Support

  • Assist in proposal development and client pitch materials with senior team members.
  • Identify and qualify potential opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Research and track competitive and market landscapes relevant to client engagements.

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Collaborate effectively in cross‑functional and cross‑cultural team environments.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong performance under pressure.
  • Contribute positively to team culture and project success.

Internal & Innovation Initiatives

  • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes, methodologies, and client deliverables.
  • Take initiative in exploring new approaches and innovative solutions for client work.
  • Support business unit initiatives and organizational goals.

Must Have

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of pharma‑bio pricing, reimbursement, and market access experience
      OR
    • MS (Bio‑pharma marketing) or MBA with 1+ year of pharma‑bio pricing, reimbursement, and market access experience
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of the bio‑pharma market access landscape and commercialization process
    • Awareness of key industry developments and payer dynamics
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data
    • Familiarity with basic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to develop clear story flow and client‑ready deliverables
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Other Skills
    • Strong project management and multi‑tasking capabilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits Transparency Statement

Base Salary Range: $65k - $80k

The compensation range displayed reflects the full span of pay across all of our U.S. geographic pay areas and experience levels. Your actual base salary offer will be determined based on multiple factors, including:

  • Geographic Pay Area (US 1 through US 5, reflecting cost‑of‑labor differences)
  • Experience & Qualifications relevant to the role
  • Internal Equity alignment with employees in similar roles and levels

What This Means for You

  • The minimum of the posted range represents the starting point for candidates in the lowest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 5).
  • The maximum of the posted range represents the upper threshold for candidates in the highest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 1 / US 2).
  • Candidates are aligned to pay areas based on their primary work location.
