Job Title: Global Head – Delivery
Location: India (preferably Bangalore)
Reports To: Executive Vice President – Enterprise Commercial Solutions
Role Overview:
The Global Head of Delivery will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of project delivery across all geographies and business units. This includes ensuring the timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of IT and digital solutions to clients globally overall delivery capabilities across all three verticals: Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical. The role requires strong operational discipline, client focus, leadership excellence, and deep understanding of Pharma and Lifesciences vertical and modern delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.) and digital transformation drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for delivery across Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical verticals in alignment with Indegene’s business objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and enhance service offerings.
- Delivery Leadership:
Lead global delivery operations across service lines, ensuring consistent execution, client satisfaction, and profitability. - Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the executive escalation point for key accounts, building trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders. - P&L and Operational Excellence:
Drive operational efficiency, utilization, margin improvement, and delivery KPIs across the global delivery ecosystem. - Talent & Capability Building:
Attract, develop, and retain top delivery talent globally. Drive a culture of continuous learning and delivery innovation. - Standardization & Transformation:
Institutionalize standardized delivery frameworks, best practices, and automation across teams and geographies. - Governance & Compliance:
Oversee risk management, compliance, and contractual obligations related to service delivery. - Technology Enablement:
Champion the adoption of AI/ML, cloud, automation, and analytics in delivery processes to improve speed, quality, and customer experience. - Strategic Programs:
Collaborate with business units and technology teams to scale digital transformation initiatives and drive global delivery modernization. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all delivery activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stay abreast of changes in regulations and proactively adapt delivery strategies accordingly.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience managing large, distributed global delivery teams
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery models
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Financial acumen with experience managing large P&L accounts
- Strong operational rigor with a process and metrics-driven approach
- Ability to lead change and manage transformation in complex, global environments
- Cross-cultural team leadership with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 18–25 years of experience in IT services or technology consulting with at least 8–10 years in global delivery leadership roles
- Strong understanding and experience in the Pharma and Lifesciences sector
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients across geographies (North America, Europe, APAC)
- Prior experience in scaling delivery operations from mid-sized to large scale is a plus
Travel:
Open to international travel as needed (approx. 25–30%)
