Location: US – Hybrid for New Jersey (2-3 days of travel to client office in East Hannover, NJ).
Role Description:
The Strategy & Implementation manager plays a critical role in supporting marketing plan execution by designing processes, optimizing workflows, managing change, and enabling teams through strong communication and hands-on solutioning.
This role blends strategic problem solving with practical operational execution, requiring someone who can translate business challenges into actionable solutions, build clear process flows, and develop compelling presentations.
This role will lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, shaping the marketing technology ecosystem to enable personalized, omnichannel customer engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in pharma commercial operations with strong product leadership, change management, and stakeholder influence at the executive level.
Must Have
You will be responsible for:
Marketing Operations Strategy & Solutioning
• Collaborate with functional leads to analyze marketing execution workflows to identify operational, process, and technology-related pain points.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to marketing technology, tools, and platforms in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Create clear, well-structured deliverables including process flows, SOPs, frameworks, toolkits, and stakeholder presentations.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations summarizing insights, recommendations, and solution roadmaps.
• Simplify and communicate complex operational or technical concepts in an audience-appropriate manner.
Strategic Leadership & Product Ownership
• Define and own the vision, roadmap, and implementation strategy for marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, CDP, marketing automation, omnichannel orchestration).
• Align technology initiatives with broader commercial, medical, and digital transformation strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on marketing technology investments and capabilities.
Change Management & Organizational Transformation
• Develop and execute comprehensive management strategies to drive adoption of new platforms and ways of working.
• Lead stakeholder engagement plans across global and local teams, including marketing, sales, medical, compliance, and IT.
• Champion a culture of digital adoption and data-driven decision-making.
• Design and implement training programs, communication strategies, and adoption frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate resistance, ensuring smooth transitions during system and process changes.
Cross-Functional & Executive Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, and IT.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Influence decision-making at the executive level and align diverse stakeholder groups.
About you:
Desired Profile (Experience, Key Skills)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial operations, digital transformation, or marketing technology.
• Pharma agency background preferred.
• Proven leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale implementations.
• Deep knowledge of pharma marketing, omnichannel engagement, and regulatory environment.
• Strong experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, Adobe, or similar ecosystems.
• Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and driving adoption at scale.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
