Responsible for building strong relationships with clients at a strategic level, driving thought leadership with clients to solve their problems through Indegene’s solutions and brining direct impact to the client’s business objectives. They are responsible for driving business growth by leveraging Indegene’s full offering suite and identifying new business opportunities. The Role You will be at the forefront of managing key client relationships and leading delivery or case teams to successful programs. Specifically, you will: • Delivery Excellence: o Oversee key projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and our quality standards o Lead and mentor the project managers, providing SME inputs and guidance to ensure optimal team performance (achievement of project milestones, adherence to timelines and client budgets). Manage and address any issues that arise during project delivery, including risk mitigation planning and execution o Support the delivery team to employ innovative consulting methodologies and solutions through active discussion with clients. o Client Relationship Management: o Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor to the client, addressing their business challenges and ensuring Indegene provides effective solutions o Identify business opportunities, widen the client network, lead the development of proposals and pricing, and coach the time on actions to convert small and larger opportunities o Track client opportunities and widen the account network o Define the account strategy and take accountability for the annual account plan identifying growth opportunities, managing the pipeline, risks and resource requirements and attainment of the agreed revenue target o Monitor account performance including revenue versus target, profitability and customer satisfaction o Financial Management o Ensure projects are profitable through effective budgeting, financial planning and staffing o Manage overall account health combining the tracking of individual project results with pipeline forecasting and profitability analysis to improve performance o Negotiate new contracts and manage existing contracts with the client and procurement o Team Leadership and Development: o Lead, manage and coach multidisciplinary and international project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration o Establish high expectations for self and team members; clearly articulating requirements to achieve project goals. o Assume responsibility for the team's work and represent the team in the eyes of the client. o Provide timely and constructive feedback, as well as development opportunities to team members to support their development and project success. o Develop team members’ skills and capabilities to meet evolving project demands and client expectations. o Your Experience o Extensive experience (5+ years) from working in top-tier management consulting firm(s) with demonstrable credentials running large-scale commercial transformation programs for life science companies o Excellent business acumen in navigating complex client-side stakeholder communities, change management, and client impact orchestration. o Deep understanding of the life science industry, having worked with senior global stakeholders within different verticals. o Strong leadership and team management skills, including the coaching and career management of more junior consultants o Proven track record of managing and expanding client relationships o Demonstrated account management capabilities, including account planning, financial management, and budgeting o Strong interpersonal, listening, critical thinking, presentation, and writing skills. o An entrepreneurial mindset and someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding work. o Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred. o You will be based in our US office and may visit clients around the world.
